Ajiyoshi Yoichi, a culinary prodigy, runs the family eatery with his mother. When Murata Genjiro visits the restaurant, he is astonished by the delicious, finely crafted katsu-don that Yoichi prepares. Yoichi is then invited to the Aji-oh Building, where he competes in a spaghetti battle against the resident Italian chef, Marui.
