The film was completed in just two months after wrapping up *Playground*. Inspired by optical illusion artists such as M.C. Escher, the director used isometric drawings and confined the animation to transformations of rectangular parallelepipeds. The geometric animation technique, originally employed in *Metropolis*, was applied alongside traditional cell animation. The director plans to continue using this method and hopes to discover a third alternative technique for future projects.
