Monkey Punch: Manga Katsudou Daishashin is an animated variety program that showcases the work of Monkey Punch. Broadcast on WOWOW, the 12 episodes, each 52 minutes long, aired between July 31 2004 and June 25 2005. A 15‑minute DVD‑exclusive special titled Crime Mate was released alongside the series. Each episode is structured with a 15‑minute Mini Stage, a 30‑minute Grand Stage, and interspersed 60‑second segments. The Lupin characters appear in brief 60‑second gags known as The Lupin Gang, presented without dialogue to rely on visual humor, and also feature in Mankatsu Monkey segments featuring a monkey that only says “Mankatsu.”
