Nagagutsu wo Haita Neko is a comic adaptation of Charles Perrault’s classic fairy tale that follows a clever musketeer feline named Perro, who dons a pair of boots. Perro’s mission is to help the weak and defenseless, but his act of saving a mouse makes him the most wanted figure in all of Catdom. While evading the notorious Three Blunderers, Perro befriends a young miller’s boy named Pierre, and together they set out to seek fame and fortune. Their journey brings them to Princess Rosa, and Perro intends to see Pierre married to the princess. However, the wicked ogre Lucifer also covets Rosa. With the assistance of a band of comical mouse thieves, Perro manages to secure an engagement between Pierre and Princess Rosa.
