Description
During her summer break at her grandparents' house, Tamai Shiina, a bright and cheerful schoolgirl, encounters a peculiar creature. They become friends, and Shiina names it “Hoshimaru, The Round Star.” When she returns home and goes back to school, she meets other children who have also befriended strange beings like Hoshimaru. But she soon discovers that not all of these creatures and their companions are as friendly as Hoshimaru.
