During his summer vacation, Makimura Koutarou has decided that he will confess his love to the seemingly unapproachable Serizawa Kaho. On the night before he plans to do so, he encounters a strange girl, an interaction that unexpectedly transports him into the future. In that future, he learns that Kaho has become his girlfriend, yet she has died in a tragic accident. Returning to his own time, Koutarou resolves to alter the future and save his beloved.
