Description
In 1945, a Hiroshima girls’ school loses its second‑ and third‑year students, who are conscripted to work in war factories. The remaining 220 first‑year girls become the town’s only teenagers and strive to make the best of their new reality amid wartime shortages. On August 7, an American bomber turns their lives forever. The series was broadcast on the 43rd anniversary of Hiroshima to honor the girls who perished in the atomic bombing.
