Satou’s life has devolved into a paranoid haze filled with conspiracy theories and social anxieties. He fears the outside world, his apartment is cluttered with remnants of cheap take‑out, and his eyes have been permanently scarred by a relentless stream of online pornography. Yet he may not be entirely to blame, an insidious force known as N‑H‑K is actively trying to turn society’s fringe‑dwellers into brain‑washed, jobless, hopeless recluses. Enter Misaki, a mysterious girl-next-door who offers Satou a chance to confront his inner demons and step into the light. She is ready to help him overcome his crippling phobias, but Satou prefers to cower instead.
