In *HUMAN CROSSING*, seemingly unrelated characters share a common thread: they confront the sometimes joyous, often horrific realities of everyday life. Set in modern‑day Japan, this collection of short stories delves into the lives of people from all walks of life. The animation is subtle, featuring realistic renderings that fully convey the emotional range of the characters. The series explores the dramatic potential of reality, highlighting the isolated and lonely aspects of urban existence, while ultimately suggesting that an inter‑connectedness between people can bind even the most disparate strangers together.
