Within a strange dimensional bubble that forms inside the kettle of an Oden food cart lies Oden Village. Its residents spend idyllic days waiting for customers to come and eat them. Oden‑kun, a resident of the village, helps other troubled dwellers realize their dreams. When he learns that a customer’s mother is suffering from cancer, he leaves the kettle and, after being eaten, confronts the cancer cell Gannosuke. Oden‑kun’s greatest wish is to meet his own mother, and until that day arrives he dedicates himself to performing one good deed each day.
