Description

Holo, Lawrence, and Nora sit down to dinner, but Holo’s deep animosity toward Nora prevents her from enjoying the meal. Soon after, Holo falls ill from exhaustion and must rest for several days. During her convalescence she dreams and reflects on her past, recalling the journey she has shared with Lawrence, and realizes that her feelings for him are growing stronger. Lawrence cares for her fever and fatigue by feeding her and balancing her body’s four elements, hot, cold, dry, and wet. Over the course of her sickness, Holo’s bond with Lawrence deepens, yet her dislike of Nora remains a source of tension. Eventually, Nora visits Holo and reconciles with her, even teasing Lawrence with a joke.
