Perestroika is a short animation series consisting of 12 episodes, each two minutes long. The story follows three Russian emigrants living in an unnamed country. Always penniless and hungry for supper, their cravings push them into bizarre situations and lead them to devise eccentric schemes. The series is created with 1:12 and 1:24 scale miniature backgrounds and props, giving it the feel of traditional stop‑motion animation. Combining these analog elements with digital techniques produces a unique and harmonious aesthetic.
