Description
Scientists harness the DNA of the rare Pokémon Mew to create the world’s most powerful Pokémon, Mewtwo. Refusing to be an experiment, Mewtwo unleashes its psychic abilities in a violent revolt, destroying the scientists who built it. After learning to focus its powers with the help of Giovanni, the financier of the project, Mewtwo discovers its abilities are being exploited again. Determined to find its own purpose, it vows revenge against humanity and threatens to unleash a deadly storm to destroy life on Earth. Ash Ketchum and several other Pokémon trainers are summoned by Mewtwo for a battle, only to realize that they are merely pawns in Mewtwo’s plan to clone them.
