Pulsar is a clay animation, actually crafted from gypsum, set to a rhythmic soundtrack that features robots, a science‑fiction motif, and alligators with human arms. A year later, in 1991, it aired on the Japanese TV program *Miyake Yuuji no Ebizori Kyoshou Tengoku*, commonly known as “Ebiten,” which showcased works by independent filmmakers. The series introduced the prototype character Pulta, later adapted into Bowda Katsuhi's *Robot Pulta* anime when he joined NHK.
