During a rainy day, a boy sulkily waits at a bus stop. The pitter‑patter of raindrops creates ripples in a puddle, and as he watches, something leaps into view. The boy sees a red fish swimming in the puddle. This short animation, a first‑year work from 2010 by Risa Kimpara of the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts, follows that encounter.
