In order to fulfill their dead father's wish, siblings Kiku and Ryuuji Takane set their sights on the championship title of the boxing arena. Kiku takes on the role of trainer, while Ryuuji focuses on being a boxer and mastering the Boomerang Hook technique. As he battles a series of rivals, Ryuuji grows and matures. The junior high boxing tournament begins, and Ryuuji faces his arch‑rival, Jun Kenzaki, launching into a fierce contest.
