Known throughout Japan as the Hitokiri Battousai, Kenshin now wanders as a soul burdened by the need to atone for his bloody past. Even the peace his sword has brought him offers no solace, driving him to keep his distance from those he loves. His wife, Kaoru, waits faithfully for his return while mourning his absence. Will Kenshin return before she succumbs to grief?
