Description
An animated TV special that brings the legendary Chinese historical romance to life. Set during the Eastern Han dynasty, the story follows a time when the imperial court has lost its power and the realm is thrown into chaos. A massive insurgent group, the Yellow Turban Party, spreads violence across the country. Liu Bei Gentoku, a descendant of a Chinese king who fears for the nation, rises to defend the realm alongside his brother‑in‑law Guan Yu and the warrior Zhang Fei, who share his desire for peace. Using secret and unconventional tactics, Gentoku gradually defeats the formidable Yellow Turban forces, becoming a hero of the ages.
