Description
Crest of the Stars (Seikai no Monshō) is the first installment of a science‑fiction novel series adapted into anime. The story follows Jinto, a young man from a planet that has been conquered by the galaxy’s largest empire, the Abh. After Jinto’s father, the planet’s prime minister, cedes sovereignty to the Abh in exchange for a position within the imperial government, Jinto inherits the title of prince. He is then sent to the Abh capital for formal education, where he meets Lafiel, an Abh princess whose cold exterior quickly gives way to a friendship with him. The Abh Empire soon becomes embroiled in war, and the narrative continues as Jinto and Lafiel confront the ensuing conflict.
