The intense bond between Shana and Yuji is tested as their paranormal adventures continue. At night, Shana, the Flame Haze, defends against supernatural foes. During the day she faces a classmate who also seeks Yuji's heart. Emotions flare when a suspicious transfer student, who resembles a recently defeated Denizen, clings to Yuji.
