Description

Humanity faces an onslaught from demonic creatures known as Oni. Lacking any other effective defense, scientist Dr. Saotome develops a line of giant robots that draw power from the mysterious Getter Rays, giving them the strength needed to combat the Oni. The most powerful of these machines is Getter Robo, and Saotome must recruit three very different men to pilot it: the martial artist Ryoma Nagare, the criminal leader Hayato Jin, and the monk Benkei Musashibou. Together, the Getter Team battles to eliminate the Oni threat once and for all.
