Description
Shortly after an atomic bomb is dropped over Hiroshima, a clandestine Japanese submarine engages a U.S. counterpart, and both vessels vanish from history. About fifty years later, a United Nations task force dispatched to investigate anomalous phenomena in Antarctica encounters a mysterious black cylinder that endangers the mission.
