The story unfolds in the underwater realm of Mer, where the once-peaceful kingdom of Bars launches a brutal war against its neighbors, the principality of Moslem and the ancient, illustrious kingdom of Agadia. How the small kingdom of Bars suddenly amassed such power remains a mystery, yet within a short span it has managed to challenge far larger and more formidable realms. In this turbulent setting, two young “spiritual knights,” Jo and Oz, earn their living by slaying marine monsters. Despite their skills, the local population harbors deep mistrust toward them, fearing that their powers could pose a threat. As tensions rise, the duo finds themselves compelled to confront the armies of Bars and the dark forces that have risen to lead it.
