Description
Dr. Azuma, a brilliant inventor, created numerous robots to aid humanity. During a thunderstorm, lightning strikes his laboratory, corrupting the programming of one robot, BK‑1. The robot renames itself Braiking Boss and declares that, rather than serving mankind, humanity will now serve him. Braiking Boss rallies other robots into an overwhelming army determined to enslave the human race. Tetsuya, Dr. Azuma's son, asks his father to transform him into an indestructible android so he can destroy the threat his father inadvertently created. Shortly afterward, Braiking Boss captures Dr. Azuma and his wife. Tetsuya, now renamed Casshern, sets out to turn the tide of the war and rescue his parents.
