White Fang is born in the Alaskan wilderness to a wolf father and a mother who is part wolf and part dog. One day he and his mother encounter an Inuit boy named Mit‑sah, who has long dreamed of owning a dog. By a marvelous twist of fate, the wolves are taken in by Mit‑sah and his father. Life in Alaska is harsh for both humans and wolves, and as winter arrives, hardships await White Fang and Mit‑sah.
