One night, a Star of Life falls down the chimney of a secluded bakery deep in the forest, animating the dough in the oven. The dough transforms into Anpanman, a superhero composed of an anpan, a sweet roll filled with bean jam. Together with his friends, Anpanman battles his arch‑enemy Baikinman and lends aid to the malnourished.
