Description

In a distant future, humanity is divided between the Union and the Deague, locked in a war so long that its origins are forgotten. The Union’s military power relies on the manned Strain weapons system, while the Deague uses the unmanned Tumoru. Sara Werec, a 16‑year‑old from a respected family, attends the Grapera Space Armed Soldier Academy in the Cranial Solar System, training to become a full‑fledged Reasoner, a pilot of the Strain. When she was eleven, her older brother Ralph was sent to a frontline 130 light‑years away on a special mission, a distance that would require 400 years of travel.
