Description
During Jim’s sea voyage, he meets a stranger in a tavern who recounts a tale about a one‑legged man. Assuming the story concerns Silver, Jim asks for more details. The man explains that near the coast of Maratoran, Silver had left the ship they were on and taken a small boat to the island. Jim could not join him at that time, but six years later he sails to Maratoran, where he encounters Silver’s wife and son.
