To prevent the looming disaster known as the Grand Fall, Rid Hershel and his companions, Farah, Keel, and Meredy, have obtained the three Greater Spirits, called Craymels in the game, of Inferia. While en route to Mount Farlos, Rid is captured by the bounty hunter Marone Blucarno, forcing the party to divert to the remote archipelago of Belcarnu, far from Inferia’s major cities. A series of adventures keeps them on the islands, where they discover a more immediate threat sleeping beneath the surface, endangering Inferia.
