For her first year of high school, family circumstances force Fuu Sawatari to move to Takehara, a scenic old town near Hiroshima on the Inland Sea, where she lives with her relatives. Her late father had grown up in Takehara and often spoke fondly of his childhood there. In her new surroundings, Fuu develops a love for photography, learning to use an old film camera, a Rollei 35S, while making friends and discovering the town.
