The boys’ tennis team of Rikkai University‑Affiliated Middle School discovers a mysterious bottle in a river. Inside, a cryptic note instructs the finder to add something else to the bottle, seal it, and toss it back into the water. After breaking the container to read the message, the team reassembles it with tape and places a few extra items inside before sending it on its way. The bottle is carried far from its original location, washing ashore at Seishun Academy, where the tennis team there stumbles upon it.
