On a rainy spring day, first‑year student Midori Saezima spots a tall, handsome classmate caring for a stray kitten. Though she doesn’t know his name, she falls in love at first sight. After a bout of illness, Midori returns to school three days after the summer break and learns she has been volunteered as a candidate for the student council. Following a series of embarrassing mishaps, both she and the mysterious boy she loves, Akira Sudo, are elected to the council.
