Description
Three years after the series’ conclusion, Ryo works as an engineer for NASA on a large rocket project. Anise, his fellow Borgman and lover, has fallen to flipping burgers at a restaurant. When she receives a letter offering a professional position in a big, high‑tech Japanese project, she jumps at the opportunity and leaves for Japan without Ryo, who remains as indecisive as ever. Chuck Sweager, the third Borgman, is a police officer, as is his girlfriend Miki. When Miki witnesses a fight among several cyborgs, she tells Chuck, who flatly dismisses the idea that any other living cyborgs exist, insisting that only Ryo, Anise, and himself remain.
