In the summer of 2000, Hollywood’s DreamWorks Film Corporation produced the hit film *Chicken Run* with Nick Park, the renowned clay‑mash animator. The story centers on a chicken protagonist and unfolds in a way reminiscent of *The Great Escape*. Thirty‑five years earlier, Mushi Production created an animated short that also featured a chicken as the main character, depicting a rebellion between rulers and the ruled that escalates into a great war. Despite its grand scale, the film runs for only three minutes. The ability to portray the endless repetition of war in human history within such a brief duration is a distinctive strength of short animation, achieved through exaggeration and vivid imagination.
