Description
Tobiuo no Boy wa Byouki desu is an anime adaptation of the picture book of the same name. It is inspired by the real‑life incident in which the crew of a Japanese fishing boat were exposed to radiation from a U.S. military H‑bomb test conducted at a nearby site, causing them to develop various radiation diseases. The story follows a flying fish that, after the radiation exposure, loses its ability to fly.
