Description
In the distant past, the world was overrun by ferocious demons summoned by the evil dragon Diabolos. Fourteen years ago, Diabolos was defeated by Zard, a boy who had earned the title of hero when he was only seven years old. Zard calmed the demons and restored peace to the land. However, four years later Diabolos was resurrected, and the demons once again launched attacks against humanity. Zard set out to confront the dragon again, but never returned. In the year 4996, Kai, Zard’s best friend, journeys to test whether the coexistence of humans and demons that Zard had spoken of is possible. During his travels he meets Izayoi, a strange boy who can communicate with demons through his heart, and Gend, a brown‑skinned swordfighter.
