Toshi Densetsu Monogatari Hikiko is a 3D CG-animated film that follows the story of Hikiko, a character rooted in a Japanese urban legend. Hikiko endured harsh treatment from both her parents and classmates during elementary school, which left her with a severe physical appearance. Driven by a desire for vengeance, she targets former classmates, capturing and brutalizing them in a violent act. The name Hikiko (森妃姫子) reversed spells 引き籠もり, a term that translates to “hikikomori,” meaning social withdrawal.
