Toshokan Sensou follows Kasahara Iku, the first woman to join Japan’s Library Task Force. In a near‑future society, the Media Enhancement Law imposes strict censorship on all books and media. To counter this oppression, the Library Defense Force was established, and every major library is equipped with a military Task Force tasked with safeguarding literature and the freedom of information. The series tracks Iku and her comrades as they defend special books and artifacts from the Media Enhancement Law Commission, weaving together elements of romance, war, and comedy into a single, engaging narrative.
