Description
Tsuru no Sugomori tells the heartfelt story of two chickens who, out of place on a small island, seek to establish a home among the local cranes. When an eagle attack kills their crane parents, the chickens rally together to mount a counterattack. Their determination ultimately restores peace to the island. The anime is based on a story by Teru Takakura and was produced over a three‑year period by about eighty members of the Japan Film Broadcasting Industry Association, directed under the pseudonym Shibayama.
