Description
Juan “Johnny” Rico, a high school student from Buenos Aires, enlists in the Federation military in hopes of following his love, Carmen, into space. He is subjected to grueling training far harsher than he expected, yet despite setbacks and traumatic experiences he perseveres and completes his training. Soon a war erupts on the outer planets against a mysterious alien foe, thrusting Johnny straight into the conflict.
