In the early afternoon, a mother holding her child stands motionless in the park of a housing project, a scene that symbolizes beauty and love. Yet the figures in the image lack faces. The camera persistently focuses on the spot from which they have disappeared, as if searching for something. The work emerged from an exploration of the relationship between family and self.
