Japan is building the Space Carrier Jasdum and the Planet Robot Dangard A under Dr. Oedo’s direction, as part of a global effort to explore the newly discovered planet Promethe. Ichimonji Takuma is a candidate to pilot Dangard A. His father, Ichimonji Dantetsu, was a renowned space pilot who vanished in a mysterious accident, and the blame for the incident was placed on him.
