Based on the novel of the same name by Jean Webster, *Daddy Long Legs* follows the life of Judy Abbott, an orphan living in New York. At a superintendent’s meeting attended by wealthy and influential people, a mysterious benefactor offers Judy a scholarship. Only catching a glimpse of his tall shadow as he departs, she calls him “Daddy Long Legs” and writes him monthly letters as he requested. While studying at the Lincoln Memorial School, Judy befriends many classmates and discovers a world she had never known before.
