The black‑and‑white anime *Wonder 3* adapts Osamu Tezuka’s manga *The Amazing 3*. Three alien agents, Captain Bokko, Nokko, and Pukko, are dispatched from outer space to Earth to determine whether the planet poses a threat to the universe and should be destroyed. They carry a powerful device, referred to variously as an anti‑proton bomb, a solar bomb, and a neutron bomb, that would annihilate Earth if activated. Although the agents appear humanoid at first, upon arrival they assume the forms of Earth animals they have captured as reference: Bokko becomes a rabbit, Nokko turns into a horse, and Pukko adopts the appearance of a duck. Their mission takes them across the planet, traveling in a tire‑shaped vehicle while gathering evidence and confronting the challenges of human society.
