In the year 2150 A.D., space pilot Takeru and his human computer, Martha, encounter a massive ship that houses two mechanical beings named Sara and Ru Mi. The beings warn them that the Gump, an alien race, is heading toward Earth to seize the planet. With only 40 minutes remaining before the invasion, Takeru pilots the Solvalou, a combat aircraft, and races to the Gump’s base on the planet Andoa. The series is based on Namco’s classic 1980s video game of the same name.
