In a town where humans and demons coexist, maintaining peace requires more than a regular police force. To tackle the growing presence of demons, the local police recruit a unique team from the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office, a quartet of exceptional teenagers, each armed with extraordinary powers. The trio that makes up the first three members are not entirely human: Ao is a cat‑eared telepath; Kotoha is a half‑human conjuror; and Hime, a dragon descendant who also serves as the town’s acting mayor. Completing the group is Akina, the only male and human in the office, who acts as director and “Oyakume,” wielding the ability to banish spirits. Together, they face the challenges that arise when demon fire meets demon fire, ensuring balance in their unusual community.
