Description
Louise is a student at the Tristein Academy who has earned the nickname “Zero Louise” because her magic consistently fails, resulting in zero successful spells. When a critical test arrives, she must summon a familiar, a servant and partner, to aid her in her magical studies. Though she hopes for a superior familiar that could impress her teasing classmates, she instead summons Hiraga Saito, an ordinary Japanese boy. Both Louise and Saito are initially unwilling to accept one another, yet they have no choice. Louise cannot summon another familiar, and Saito cannot return to Japan, so they begin a life together. This story is based on the novel by Noboru Yamaguchi.
