Tokyo’s “Anime Tokyo Station” exhibition space is marking its second year of operation. The venue, which has welcomed over 214,000 visitors as of mid-September 2025, is gearing up for a special milestone event.
To celebrate its anniversary, the facility will host a joint exhibition titled “Digimon Adventure 02 & Magical DoReMi # ANIME 25TH ANNIVERSARY”, running from November 15, 2025 to February 15, 2026.
Both series originally aired around the year 2000 (pre-2010), making this a fitting piece for your retro anime focus.
Visitors to the exhibition can expect:
- Original character design sheets, hand-painted background art, storyboards and prop/costume references from the series.
- Photo-booths themed around iconic characters (e.g., the Digimon line-up, Doremi and friends) and interactive digital content.
- A supplementary “Autumn Festival” event on November 4 2025, featuring voice-actors (Miina Tominaga, Kaori Nazuka & Tomohiro Yamaguchi) in a talk-show format reflecting on anime’s appeal.
