Arc the Lad follows Elk, a bounty hunter in a strange future where archaic and advanced technology coexist with primitive customs, beasts, and magic. An evil conspiracy creates powerful monsters called chimeras that can also masquerade as humans. Soon after rescuing a young female beast‑master, Elk draws the attention of these enemies.
