Description

First season of the Monogatari Series (part 1 of 6), the anime adapts the arcs from the Bakemonogatari light novels: Hitagi Crab, Mayoi Snail, Suruga Monkey, Nadeko Snake, and Tsubasa Cat. With the aid of Meme Oshino, high‑school student Koyomi Araragi survives a confrontation with a female vampire and is left to confront a series of apparition‑related problems. Hitagi Senjougahara cannot feel weight, Suruga Kanbaru’s right arm turns into a monkey’s, and Mayoi Kuroda constantly loses her way home. Araragi, portrayed as a “nice guy,” resolves each girl’s issue with the guidance of Oshino.
